Meet Our Franchisee: Leonor and Mike Dottino

After over a decade of experience within the Point of Purchase industry, Leonor Dottino turned to franchise business as a way to maintain a flexible schedule while staying focused on her two kids and remaining a businesswoman.

“Mike had previously owned a mold/radiation cleaning franchise and had mentioned I would be able to create my own schedule as a franchise owner. I wanted to maintain a similar focus area to Mike and started researching cleaning franchise opportunities,” Leonor says. “From an organizational standpoint, The Cleaning Authority really impressed us. They support their franchisees throughout the entire process. It was a perfect fit.”

When a resale opportunity opened up for The Cleaning Authority in New Jersey, the couple decided to purchase the territory. “We’re planning to move our office into a bigger location sometime next year. Hopefully within that same time frame, we plan to grow from 330 customers to as many as 500,” Leonor said. “With the transition, we’ve added two team members but with our extensive growth plans, we’re planning to add anywhere between six to ten people.”

Outside of her business ownership, Leonor is active in the PTA at the school her two sons attend. Leonor looks forward to serving the Midland Park area.
