After 30 years of extensive experience as an Administrative Assistant,
Susan Levermann is becoming her own boss through franchising. She will
open a The Cleaning Authority franchise in the Edgewood, Kentucky area.
“I began a job hunt but was met with roadblocks because I didn’t
have a college degree. Although I had years of experience I was faced
with minimum wage jobs and was not satisfied,” Susan said. “These
factors motivated me to branch out and consider new career paths that
would best fit my skill set.”
The Cleaning Authority appealed to Susan because she was looking to work
with and meet people in the community. She believes franchising will give
her the opportunity to be financially comfortable while continuing her
passion for working with individuals and giving back to my community.
In her new business venture, Susan plans to employ other young parents
in need of work to support their families. Susan volunteers at Care Net,
a pregnancy Center that offers parenting classes. Susan understands the
struggle of being a young parent first-hand and hopes to partner with
agencies like Care Net. Her goal is to provide jobs to struggling parents
in her community.
