Meet the Franchisee: Minaxi and AJ Patel

A love of helping people is what attracted Minaxi and AJ Patel to The Cleaning Authority. After previous involvement in a hotel franchise, the recently married couple plans to bring their familiarity with the franchise model to a new business venture with The Cleaning Authority.

Minaxi and AJ got married in 2012 and moved to Alabama where AJ owned hotels. In the spring of 2016, he sold the hotels and the couple moved back to Atlanta and began looking into a new business.

The Patel’s hotel industry experience led them to admire the idea of getting into a business where the burden of cleaning is taken off of the shoulders of clients by providing a tidy home, instead of just a prepared room to stay in for one night on vacation. They ultimately landed on The Cleaning Authority.

“We were attracted to franchises because the concept offers a more supportive type of business model, rather than starting a company,” Minaxi said. “We also wanted to maintain a set structure, which The Cleaning Authority provided. The structure and hours of the business model coincide with our lifestyle and people will always need clean homes, which is a reassurance for our success.”

They look forward to building relationships with local Decatur, GA residents and improving their quality of life.
