Venezuelan couple German and Rosa Diaz are pursuing a new chapter in their
professional lives by opening a new The Cleaning Authority franchise in
the Port Orange, FL area. The couple initially came to the United States
because of the employment opportunities and the overwhelming sense of security.
After starting an IT company in Venezuela, German looked for similar qualities
in companies for his next career venture, including strong relationships
with clients. “The IT business is very different in the U.S. than
it is in Venezuela, so I realized I wanted to start with something completely
different,” he said. “I came to the U.S. in April 2016, because
the quality of life here is much better than in Venezuela. Also, employment
and security is better in the U.S. I knew I needed a good business and
company to support me, with my family here.”
German and Rosa liked that The Cleaning Authority’s business model
was already established and the corporate team helped them with customer
acquisition from the get-go, which left them only having to operate the
franchise. “The marketing from The Cleaning Authority’s corporate
team is really good and the support is there. It’s not easy coming
to a new country and starting a new company. With The Cleaning Authority,
I found I could take a similar leadership role to the company I ran in
Venezuela.”
The Cleaning Authority is a family business for the Diaz family, with their
daughter Ana acting as manager before moving on to attend Purdue University.
Since opening, German and Rosa have seen incredible success with their
Port Orange, FL location and have immersed themselves in their local community.
The family has enjoyed watching their consistently growing business, and
look forward to what the future holds.
