Local entrepreneur John Chase is taking a step away from financial services
to bring a much needed, high-quality cleaning service to the area he calls
home. John has spent his entire career in financial services. John began
working for Alliance Capital in the early 90s as an inside wholesaler,
but went on to hold positions as a National Account Manager for retirement
plans and eventually became a Vice President/Relationship Manager for
their Financial Institutions & Advisors Division.
“In 2004, I left Alliance Capital to join Columbia Management, now
Columbia Threadneedle Investments, as the Director of National Accounts,
a position I held until early last year,” John said.
When John began searching for a new career path, he wanted to move away
from financial services and the idea of being his own boss was very intriguing.
After speaking with a career/entrepreneur coach, who brought up the idea
of franchising, John knew it was something where he could use his business
strengths and entrepreneurial skills.
After speaking with The Cleaning Authority’s corporate team, John
immediately saw how professional and knowledgeable they were, which he
admired. “Their support for all of the franchisees, through creative
marketing efforts and mentorship, is something unique and wonderful,” he said.
John and his family currently work with the Hingham Food Pantry on a weekly
basis collecting leftover food from local restaurants to bring to homeless
shelters, so he plans to jump right into The Cleaning Authority’s
Community Outreach Program, The Cleaning Authority CARES program, which
conducts food drives two times a year.
John is looking forward to getting his business started. The Norwell and
south shore area is a great market filled with many families, both young
and old. “A cleaning service is always going to be attractive to
this community,” John said. “Although there are other cleaning
services in the area, I believe the attention to detail and exceptional
customer service that The Cleaning Authority provides is unparalleled
to the competitors. I personally have had experiences with other cleaning
services that were unsatisfactory, so I believe The Cleaning Authority
will do well in this area.”
