The Cleaning Authority and its franchise locations value the importance
of education and encourage their employees to pursue higher education.
The Cleaning Authority CARES scholarship honors employees of The Cleaning
Authority as well as the spouses and children of employees who are working
to further their education. In April, The Cleaning Authority CARES awarded
ten scholarships in the amount of $1,000. The scholarship will help to
off-set the costs of tuition, books, or fees at any accredited university,
college, trade, or technical school.
Rilie Barnes, whose mother is a Quality Inspector in The Cleaning Authority
of Gladstone, was awarded one of the scholarships to assist her as she
attends the University of St. Mary. Rilie’s achievement was featured in the
Gladstone Dispatch and the
Leavenworth Times. “I am beyond grateful for the opportunities I have been given by
The Cleaning Authority. Over this past summer, I actually got to work
alongside my mother at The Cleaning Authority. This time really gave me
a better appreciation for what they do and how hard my mom works,”
Rilie told Leavenworth Times. “Receiving this scholarship has alleviated
a lot of stress for my mom funding my college tuition.”
