The Cleaning Authority CARES Awarded by IFA's Franchising Gives Back

The Cleaning Authority CARES program recently received the Silver Newcomer Award at this year's Franchising Gives Back Awards Dinner.

Franchising Gives Back, which was developed by the International Franchise Association (IFA) Franchise Education & Research Foundation three years ago, salutes the best and most innovative community leaders and charitable programs nationwide. The Cleaning Authority was one of just 18 franchises recognized at the event, and the award put The Cleaning Authority's charity efforts alongside the likes of McDonald's, The Wendy's Company, and many other large franchises.

The Newcomer Category highlights new charitable or community support programs launched within the last year that have made a significant impact on a local community. The Cleaning Authority CARES was honored for its 2016 food collection, with 151 franchise locations contributing 238,175 pounds of food to 216 food banks and organizations across North America.

Receiving the Silver Newcomer Award proves how The Cleaning Authority CARES has furthered our reputation as a world class organization. In addition to the recognition, The Cleaning Authority CARES was also awarded a donation to a charity of its choice. These dollars went to Feeding America. Many offices of The Cleaning Authority donate food to food banks that are a part of the Feeding America system, so it was a natural choice to support their organization.

Receiving this award is a true testament to the hard work from The Cleaning Authority franchisees and the generosity of their customers. To learn more about The Cleaning Authority CARES visithttp://www.thecleaningauthority.com/cares/.
